POWERBOAT PROGRAM - AN OVERVIEW
"Learn to Drive a Powerboat"
Owners of powerboats and sportboats have a great responsibility towards other water users. The Powerboat Program aims to provide insight into the safe use of these craft, the equipment they must carry, and a knowledge of the aspects of seamanship, navigation and weather which govern their use.
The course is designed to provide those who go powerboating with the skills and knowledge to enjoy their time on the water safely.
To find out where you learn to drive a powerboat, use the YAAC search to find a sailing school in your area. If you are interested in instructing, please contact your State Yachting Association.
