Are you interested in becoming a Classifier?
Yachting Australia and the Australian Sports Commission are currently recruiting Classifiers for Disabled Sport
If you are a medical practitioner or physiotherapist with an interest in disability and sport and are prepared to attend a weekend training program covering the fundamentals of Sport Classification for Sailing, please contact Carly Hargraves Sport Development Coordinator at Yachting Australia on 02 8424 7409.
Your application should include:
- Your medical background
- Your current professional registration status
- Details of your background in disability management
- Details of any involvement that you may have in the sport of sailing (not mandatory)
Successful candidates will be required to attend a training seminar and will be provided with educational material to read prior to the seminar.
Candidates will be subject to a criminal record check and working with children check and will be required to show evidence of current registration with a professional body. Yachting Australia reserves the right to select applicants.
