Windsurfing Coach

The Yachting Australia Windsurfing Coach is a sailor who through a genuine interest in the development of the sport has aquired and developed the skills needed to enable the coaching of Windsurfing Competitors aiming at National events and higher.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates for this certificate must hold the Yachitng Australia Windsurfing Senior Instructor's certificate and therefore must have the NCAS Level 1 accreditation OR have a vast experience in National or International competition and have completed a NCAS Level 1 General Principals course and must hold:

TRAINING FOR LEVEL 1 COACH

The training for the Windsurfing Level 1 Coach is the same as for the Club Trainer Certificate.

TRAINING FOR LEVEL 2 COACH

The training for the Windsurfing Level 2 Coach is the sam as for the Level 1 coach PLUS the successful completion of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) Level 2 General Principals course.  Task experience totalling a minimum of 120 hours must be completed and approved by both the State Training Coordinator and the Training Department of the Yachting Australia.  A separate and concise log must be completed giving details of training programs and results.
