RYA / Yachting Australia Recognition

How to become a recognised RYA-Yachting Australia Training Centre?

You need to:

    a) Appoint a Principal or Chief Instructor who is qualified as a RYA/Yachting Australia Yachtmaster Instructor (or Shorebased Instructor). HOW DO I DO THIS?
  b) All instructors teaching the scheme must be either a Yachtmaster Instructor, Cruising Instructor or Shorebased Instructor for the RYA/YA National Yacht Tarining Scheme (Motor or Sail). HOW DO I DO THIS?
  c) Have vessels available for tuition. These must be yachts between 7 and 15m in length that are capable of going offshore, that meet State Maritime Authority requirements and are equipped according to RYA/ Yachting Australia requirements. HOW DO I DO THIS?
  d) Know what is required for recognition before completing applications for Shorebased or Practical Training Centres. HOW DO I DO THIS?
Once you have these requirements in place you may apply for recognition as a RYA/ Yachting Australia Training Centre. HOW DO I DO THIS?
Your training centre will then be subject to an inspection* by the Chief Instructor (*Practical applications only). Recognition will be granted upon a successful outcome from the inspection. HOW DO I DO THIS?
