Chief Instructor applications open

Chief Instructor Sea Safety Survival Course

Yachting Australia seeks to appoint a Chief Instructor for the Yachting Australia Sea Safety Survival Course (SSSC)

The SSSC Chief Instructor is a part-time contract role and will be responsible for setting consistent and enforceable national standards for the Sea Safety Survival Course.

This position is a new role for Yachting Australia and is central to driving the pursuit of consistent national standards.

Some of the key competencies for this position include:

• High level of offshore racing experience;
• Being customer service focused and experience;
• Knowledge and understanding of the Australia Quality Training Framework;
• Excellent management and communications skills;

Previous experience working as an instructor and knowledge of the Yachting Australia training schemes would be beneficial.

Yachting Australia seeks to appoint a Chief Instructor for the Yachting Australia Dinghy scheme, 'Get into Small Boat Sailing'.

The Dinghy Chief Instructor is a part-time contract role and will be responsible for setting consistent and enforceable national standards for the National Get into Small Boat Sailing Scheme.

This position is a new role for Yachting Australia and is central to driving the pursuit of consistent national standards.

Some of the key competencies for this position include:

• High level of dinghy experience in all its forms;
• Being customer service focused and experience;
• Excellent management and communications skills;

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment;
• High level of power-boating experience in all its forms;
• Being customer service focused and experience;
• Knowledge and understanding of the Australia Quality Training Framework;
• Excellent management and communications skills;

Previous experience working as an instructor and knowledge of the Yachting Australia training schemes would be beneficial.
