RQYS Sailing Academy seeks Sailing Instructors
Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is seeking qualified Sailing Instructors for their reputable Sailing Academy. RQYS Sailing Academy runs youth and adult programs in Optimist, Pacers and Small Keelboats. Through coaching you will develop student skills and confidence on the water. Sailing Instructors report to the Sailing Academy Manager and weekend work is essential. Whilst qualifications are essential, RQYS will help towards you gaining relevant qualifications
Your responsibility will be to implement the Academy’s sailing courses to a high standard. You must possess the following skills:
• Competent sailing skills
• Good communications skills
• Strong attention to safety details
• Friendly and approachable
• Be a sound role model for children
• Take working with children seriously
We are currently looking for some Instructors who can work during the week for up and coming school and adult learn to sail programmes. We will also have plenty of work over the weekends.

Sunshine Sailing Australia is now looking for a RYA Yachtmaster Instructor.
He/she should have experience in sailing instruction and organizing classes. The instructor should be able to judge weather conditions and make the appropriate decision on when and where to sail. He/she must be able to create a sailing program that not only teaches technical sailing skills but also develops sportsmanship and an enthusiasm for sailing and understands how to encourage and inspire sailors of different ability levels
