Australian Yacht & Boat Club Managers Forum at Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia
The Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia will welcome delegates from across the country this week to the inaugural Australian Yacht and Motor Boat Club Management Forum.
Held over three days from 8th May, the forum will give yacht and motor boat club managers the opportunity to meet and discuss issues relating to its unique industry.
Topics for discussion at this inaugural forum were chosen from those submitted by the various clubs across the country and come under the following headings:
- Benchmarking & Information Sharing
- Club Governance
- Membership Trends
- Yacht Racing
- Volunteers
- Insurance for Clubs
- Sponsorship
- Facilities & Infrastructure
- Environment & OHS
Delegates from many of the major yacht clubs from around Australia are attending with all states being represented.
As a result of this forum the national networks between yacht and motor boat club managers will be strengthened and hopefully the exchange of ideas and information will continue long after this forum comes to a close.
