Rio 2016 - Yachting Australia calls for applications for Nacra 17 and 49erFX equipment allocations
Following the ISAF Council decision to select the Nacra 17 and 49erFX as the classes for the mixed multihull and women's skiff respectively for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the ISAF secretariat have released details of the initial allocation of equipment.
Further details on this process can be found at http://www.sailing.org/38545.php
As part of this process, Yachting Australia is calling for applications for build slots of this equipment. Applications will be assessed by Yachting Australia and placed in a priority order from which ISAF and the builders will release the initial equipment allocations. It is envisaged that the initial equipment allocations will be completed by the end of 2012, following which equipment purchases will be made solely with the respective builder/dealers without ISAF or Yachting Australia involvement in the process.
Applications should be emailed to mark.robinson@yachting.org.au or via fax to +61 2 9906 2366.
Applications for the FX rig are due by Friday 18 May 2012 - available here
Applications for the Nacra 17 are due by Wednesday 23 May 2012 - available here
