Yachting Australia Club Risk Management Template
Following on from the Risk Management resource created by Yachting Victoria in 2004, Yachting Australia has conducted a review and developed a new Club Risk Management Template.
The intent behind providing this resource to clubs is to attempt to reduce the incidence of injury in sailing, provide a safe environment for participants and to minimise potential club liability.
To accompany this document, Yachting Australia will be hosting a workshop for Member Yachting Association nominated delegates with the objective of reviewing the current risk categories and developing a sample Emergency Management Plan. Following the outcomes from the workshop, the document will be released for use by clubs later this year.
