Federal Assembly and Executive Officers Meeting - May 2012
Last weekend Presidents of the State & Territory Associations and the Yachting Australia Board met in Sydney for the Federal Assemby.
The meeting followed a two day meeting of the Executive Officers of the MYAs and Yachting Australia staff. The principal business of the meetings was to plan the implementation of the Discover Sailing Program, to start this July.
Details of the Discover Sailing Program will be made available to all Gold Card Holders by the end of June before a launch in July or August.
Discover Sailing has been funded by the Australian Sports Commission and is based on the recommendations of the gemba Report, with its objective to attract more people into sailing at member clubs.
