How do I become a SSSC Instructor?
|

The SSS Instructor Course:
Candidates attending to SSS course range from novice to highly experienced, and the instructor must be able to deal with questions at ALL levels. This Instructor course is an intensive 3.5 day course involving theory and practical training with ongoing assessment. During the final day of the course you will be expected to deliver a section of the syllabus which may include a pool session.
Presentation materials will be provided in electonic format with futher supporting literature provided during the course.
How to register:
Please complete the application form YA7 and include a brief introduction of yourself, including reasons for wishing to become an instructor. Please also add any personal experiences you feel that will be of value in the classroom. A deposit will be required on application with the balance being due 4 weeks prior to the course commencement date. All applicants will be notified and Joining Instructions will be sent to suitable candidates once payment has been approved.
Scheduled Instructor Courses:
The next SSS Instructor course will run in Sydney from 3-6th May 2012 at the Botany Bay Yacht Club. The course costs $1000 (incl) with a deposit of $250 required upon application. Completed applications should be sent to sonia.robinson@yachting.org.au by cob Friday 31st March 2012.
Note: Without a current SSSC Certificate and first aid certificate your SSSC Instructors qualification will become invalid.
