2004 National Coaching Scholarship Program
The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), in co-operation with national sporting organisations, are calling for suitable candidates to apply for the National Coaching Scholarship Program (NCSP). The role of the NCSP is to develop Australia's pool of high performance coaching talent. The program has produced some of Australia's most distinguished high performance coaches.
Successful candidates will undertake the following during their scholarship:
- Placement in a high performance program for 12 months at the AIS, or State/Territory Institutes or Academies of Sport
- Completion of a Postgraduate Course in Elite Sports Coaching
- Experiential learning supported by mentor coaches within each program
The Scholarships include a taxable remuneration package of $32,700p.a in addition to specific travel, education and relocation expenses.
