Rod Hughes

Working within the sports industry is a role Rod is particularly suited to due to his lifelong involvement in sport from the playing, coaching and administration viewpoints. His number one sport is Australian Football, and whilst his playing days are well behind him he is still involved in the coaching role. He is the current President of the Queensland branch of the Australian Football Coaches Association. For several years Rod was the Vice President on the national board of the Australian Society of Sport Administrators (ASSA).

This hands on experience provides Rod with the perfect practical experience to support his Graduate Certificate in Risk Management qualification from Monash University. Rod is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Risk Management, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and also a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker.
