www.yachting.org.au/Your RYA or RYA/YA Yachtmaster Certificate may show endorsements on the right hand page above the photograph.  These could include "Cruising Instructor for Sail/Power until: ...." or "Yachtmaster Instructor for Sail/Power until: ..."  The expiry date of the qualification will be five years from your qualifying assessment.

If you are a Cruising Instructor, this assessment may have been through the school you were working at, or by completing the five-day Instructor Course. 

If you are a Yachtmaster Instructor, this assessment will have been during or following a five-day Yachtmaster Instructor course.

Please be aware that all Practical Instructors must be commercially endorsed and since April 2012 a component of this has been to complete the Professional Practices and Responsibilities course (PPR).
